Bungard Funeral Directors, Hove
We installed a solar array at Bungard Funeral Directors in Hove, and sized the system to help with some of the electrical load from the mortuary.

Panels: 16 x 450W JA solar panels
Inverter: 8kW SIG Energy inverter
Battery: 2 x 9kW SIG Energy batteries
Mounting system: K2 Single Rail system
Installation
The solar panels were installed on the site’s east- and west-facing roofs. A particular challenge we faced during this installation was the site’s location on a busy public road: we had to get special permits for scaffolding and had to be mindful of through traffic and the church next door.
With lots of foot traffic too, we worked even more carefully than usual, making sure nothing could fall off the scaffolding and all equipment was kept safely away from the public.
