Do solar panels work effectively in winter?
They do indeed – while there are fewer daylight hours, your panels still work in cloudy weather and your system will still generate significant electricity and savings.
How much money can I save with solar panels?

My roof isn’t south-facing – can I still have solar panels?
Absolutely – solar panel systems work well on east, west and north orientations. Plus, our panels don’t require constant direct sunlight; they continue to work in overcast weather. Your solar system will be tailored to suit your property and energy needs.
How long will my solar panels last?
Solar panels are strong and durable, and come with a performance guarantee of up to 25 years. They slowly lose efficiency as they age, but only at a rate of about 0.5% per year. So after 25-30 years, your panels will still be producing 85% of their original output. In short, you’ll be generating your own electricity for decades!
Do you provide monitoring and maintenance?
Yes – we always visit you a week after your system is installed, to check everything’s running as it should be and to answer any questions you may have. And if there’s a problem after that, we will try and fix it remotely for you and then arrange a visit if needed. We’re on hand to help and advise every step of the way.
Can my solar panels be installed before November?
Yes, we do have limited availability for installs before November and will happily discuss dates with you, but please note the £500 discount from our Winter Solar Saver wouldn’t be available to you.
