How much will I actually save?
Solar panels can cut your energy bills by up to 90% – and earn you money when you sell any surplus power back to the National Grid. We’ll design a system tailored to your energy usage that maximises your savings.

How do I earn money from excess energy?
Most homes with solar panels will produce more energy than they need at certain times of the year, especially in summer. The Smart Export Guarantee (SEG) is a government-backed scheme that energy suppliers to pay you for the surplus electricity you send to the grid. We can help you access the SEG scheme.

My roof is not south-facing – can I still have solar panels?
Yes, absolutely. Solar panels work well on east or west-facing roofs and can even generate significant energy on north-facing roofs if they are relatively shallow-pitched. Solar panels continue to work in cloudy and overcast weather: what counts is daylight, not direct sunlight.

What if my roof isn’t suitable?
We’ve installed solar in all kinds of challenging situations, including a bespoke garden pergola for a property with an unsuitable roof, and a listed church building. If there’s a way to make solar work for your home, we’ll find it.

How long does installation take?
Most residential systems take a maximum of 3 days to complete. We’ll give you a timeline when we quote – and if you have any specific timing requirements, let us know. We’ll work around you to install your panels in a way that causes minimal disruption to your daily life.
